*hugs* Ahhhh...you're such a sweet and wonderful guy. <333 I know what you mean about hearing something or seeing something, and realizing you could've done something about it, and it nags at you. But you were given another opportunity, and you took it. At the same time though, kids shouldn't learn to take from strangers, if you know what I mean. So givin to an adult in this case, I think was more appropriate.
Have you seen "Pay It Forward?" It essentially describes what you're talking about; a person does something nice to another, and it just spreads.
As for me, I am rather in the habit of holding the door open for people. And yesterday there was an elderly lady pushing a cart out of Marshalls--where I'd just picked up an app--and she couldn't get the door open and push the cart out at the same time, so I told her I'd get it for her, then opened it while she went through. Heh. But I agree; if people could just do at least one nice thing, it'll spread. And it's somethin we ought to do, and it really doesn't take much.
Now, since I am to give you a punishment, as well as what to do for the 20th, here it is:
Punishment: Give up one day of video gaming. On this day, go to the Museum of Natural History, and do a documentary. Kinda like something you would see on the Discovery Channel. You can document the displays, or the people in an unobvious way. Must sound professional. Must have some music at parts.
For the 20th: Since you'll actually be in town, and I'll get to see you--hopefully--we ought to make dinner together. Though you can't record me TOO much. *nods*
